My Review of Each Time by dazedforever
Lovely
You know more than anything I love the universal thought expressed in a personal way, The truth that we all share through the eyes of and heart of an individual. You have captured this here in spades. You are correct it does read like a romantic poem but such is the power of the sentiment, that while this can describe a million facets of ones life, the sentiment and the emotion is that of love and caring. Wonderfully crafted as always and dare I say brilliantly heartfelt. You are a rare talent, Shimmer

My Review of It is You by dazedforever
Exceptional
I read this as almost a prayer. I could be way off base and this good be about a person but I read this more as a conversation with a higher power. The imagery and literary choice are crazy good, the flow is spot on and the gentle nature of a powerful connection rings throughout. As always my dear friend your talent is boundless.

Indeed
The beauty of the restful state of a restless mind. I identify with this a great deal. As always such a deft touch with the phrasing and the metaphors. The last stanza was fantastic, loved the last line that is a wonderful way to cap the piece. excellent job. D-

A lot of emotion and care in the construction of the phrasing which made it a smooth read even when it switched meter at parts. the message comes through loud and clear and rings true to the reader. Nice work. D-

My Review of THOSE MOMENTS by kitty
Enjyed it
I see that you have selected critical reviews preferred and the only think that I can be even a little bit critical is the flow and the rhyme scheme breaks. They did not take away from the lovely sentiment or emotion in the piece they just caught me out a little as it switched from couplets to free form mid way. Alas, an enjoyable emotive piece that I enjoyed reading. Nice work. D-

My Review of Pink Proclivity by Caroline
Very nice
I enjoyed the read. You have noted that you prefer critical reviews and there is very little to be critical about here. Since that is your preference I will try to do my best to review it that way. I would have changed "eyes look to eyes" to "eyes locked on eyes" and the word "pulchritudinous" breaks the flow of the piece but those are very minor things and the piece was super emotive and had a lovely vibe. Nice work. D

My Review of One Constant by pnknucklez
Damn
that was powerful, I am shocked that I am the first one to give this a review as it was downright terrific. The flow was very good, had a nice pace and the meter was solid in the verses, the message however was the real star for me, just a powerful punch all the way to the end and that last stanza was terrific. Great job here. D-

The more I read of your work, the more I appreciate the care you take in the phrasing. That is something that I really enjoy, it is direct but it is engaging and the choices always add in a very descriptive way rather than get in the way of the message you are conveying. Excellent job here. D-

fun
Love a little light hearted piece to break up all the dark and deep pieces. well crafted and the last line was a great kicker for me. I do enjoy reading couplets and ones with a solid meter really appeal to me, which this one certainly has. Nice work. D-

My Review of The Beaten by TonyD
Enjoyed
I enjoyed that a lot. Has an uplifting message about continuing to try and getting up when knocked down. I think you are missing the word "getting" in the first line of the last stanza but perhaps not, alas it was a well written piece with a message we can all stand to read and take to heart. Nice job. Indeed
I love minimalism, sometimes a few words and a few lines well crafted can tell a story a novel can never touch. True how words when chosen well and a story crafted from passion can always find the part of us that excites us and makes us warm and fuzzy. Excellent work. D-

True
The best we can do sometimes is put one foot in front of the other. As Churchill said, "If you are going through hell it is best to keep moving". I really appreciate the care in the phrasing within the piece. the flow was good but the feeling and the sense of striving to reach tomorrow was the powerful message I took away. Nice work. -Dom

Terrific
Sensuous and loving with a slight hint of regret there is so much to enjoy in this piece. I read it twice just to take the journey as completely as it is written. Love the depth and passion in it. Also really enjoying the turn of phrase as well as the smooth flow and rhyme scheme worked smashingly for me as well. really nice work. D-

Love the emotion and energy in the piece. It speaks to me. Being newly divorced, I am at the place where I have no interest in wading back into that pool, but it was wonderful to read about someone finding joy. Loved it - D

Such a wonderful turn of phrase exhibited here, not once but multiple times. Brilliant way to end the piece, kicked it up a level from an already terrific piece. Love the read, made me stop and think about how would greet a lost love. Excellent Job. D-

Wow
that last line flipped the script in a really cool way. Gave a fourth or fifth dimension to the piece. There is such a muted joy and a longing, pained undertone in it when read with that last line. Really powerful. Great Job. D-

My Review of Tenderest Love. by dazedforever
Felt it
I have long said the greatest test of any writer is if they can take the universal thought and describe it in a unique way. This is done smashingly here. Loved the simplicity but also the impact of the pieces as well. Capturing a tender moment that stands alone but infers so much. Great Job. D-
