This poem is heart breaking and sad. I can really relate to it. Well done. It is just my opinion but I think the fact that everyone eventually dies is something to cry about. It is a very sad reality

My Review of Baptized In Blood by michaelgallatin
What you say in this poem is so true and it is excellently said. In my country canada there were horrible residential schools for natives recently as 50 years ago. The most horrific things happened there like torture and sexual abuse. The atrocities inflicted upon the natives is truly a holocaust.

My Review of Religious Questions (Lord's Prayer Redone Sequel) by michaelgallatin
I have a lot of questions but I still believe. Your poem is very thought provoking and well done. In your author notes you mention reading
Your lords prayer poem to your wife. I hope that means you and her are no longer estranged
If that is what it means I am so happy for you.

My Review of Lord's Prayer Redone by michaelgallatin
I am Christian who truly believes but I still do not understand why there is so much suffering in the world. Many Christians say it is because mankind has free will. But I think that is such a bullshit explanation. I like your poem. I am sure many have the same wish

My Review of There Was Soot by michaelgallatin
This is a good anti trump poem. The comparison to Satan is welll

said. But I am not sure why you were in hell with him in the poem.
You are nothing like him. You are a good kind man

My Review of Numb to the News by richom
Richom I agree with you to some degree. If we watch the news too much the horror will be overwhelming and unhealthy for us. But we should not completely cut ourselves off from it.
The world really needed to see the photographs of the wounded Syrian boy sitting in the ambulance. We can only start to change the world if we are informed. I like your poem

I prefer if you refer to me by my real name Masayuki in the future. Because you are a good kind friend. And I want my friends to refer to me by my real name
