| . A Little about Myself
Well let’s see, O K, I know so here goes. I discovered about five years ago I had a knack for writing, mostly writing letters against the system and trying to bring about some kind of change. That's where my poetry came into play; I'd use small rhymes and send these to those of the system, trying to get a rise out of them. I've strong political views and once again find myself on the activists’ end of things again.
I remember answering the call to fight for God, Country and King; my dreams are still filled with this horror and death. I had been raised as a devote Catholic, even lending myself to the Irish Republican Army for a while but like some with time my views were to have changed drastically. Now my religious beliefs are purely Pagan in nature yet I’ll not judge another’s belief only asking that they open their eyes and see the corruption which has wormed its way into every aspect of our lives.
I too have no education in English Lit, in all accords it was one of my worst subjects in school, so I learn as I am to go along. On that one I wish I was to go further, for even though I find writing maybe hard at times and I’ll never be a great poet, I still really do enjoy it and it is a great way to relief stress. Most of my writing sways to the darker sides of life and is not for everybody, some of it has even gotten me in trouble. Still I refuse to follow the norm and by hook or by the ever skilled crook there must be reform.
I was supposed to get married many years ago, so pretty but frail she was, she’d gotten very ill and was never able to recover. I think that is why I had never married nor do I have any children. The rest of my family has since all passed on, my mother’s and brother’s deaths too were rather taxing on my heart and spirit, I feel both were taken before their time. I’m retired now do to a degenerative bone condition which has affected every corner of my life, at times making life unbearable and wishing not to go on, that’s where Baby and Sister come into play, who just happen to be my two cats. They are more companions than pets, their love is unconditional lending me the moral support I need day in and day out and yet there are those in this life who would take that away from individuals such as I. by pushing their No-Pet-Policy’s!
One last thing, in 2009 I had been in a very bad accident. a good part of the left side face and most of my right arm had been badly burned. My face was to heal with very little to no scaring, but it was my right arm and I’m right handed. Operation after operation so I wouldn’t lose my hand and the skin grafts are far from pretty, yet still there’s the everyday pain and I had to learn how to use it almost all over again. That’s why I’d gotten a P C, because I could no longer write by hand. At first the thing just sat there, for I feel I was like most, afraid of it. Then little by little I’d gotten into, at first losing a lot of stuff, but they say I have a great degree of intelligence, teaching myself the ins and out of the computer. Now I’m at a point in time where as I am building my own P C’s and this is all because something that was meant to be real bad had in the long run partly done me some good.
