| Promises you never keep. Apocalypses that never happen. Like a boy on Christmas Eve, I am eagerly awaiting this fabled end.
Shaped of the rain that delivered. Grown of the soil that will swallow me.
I was born and have toiled all of my life in the hellish bowers of Southern California, subject to the constant rape of sunlight. Where others whispered prayers to absent deities I have worshiped at the altars of reason and desolation, a priest anointed and tutored in the temples of the erudite damned. Where others slept sound in burning beds, I awoke to the cold of crashing dreams and nightfall kingdoms. And so these are my words, my testament of love and death, of truth and lies, of hope and despair, or reason and faith, of gods and ghosts...
A NOTE ON RATING: Rating art is utter bullshit. This self imposed censorship they applaud is fuckery of the highest caliber. I will from now on rate all of my entries with the "18+" scarlet badge of dishonor. So no complaining.
