Kinda-ish (a tribute to blackroseislove)
Beauty comes in with the small breath of the wind. The breath of her.
Sarcasm stings with spunky words she sings.
Insecure and totally fine with it, her thoughts of you in words infinite.
These words again and again fail to bring justice to the rose that is black.
Tributes seem unnecessarily incomplete for they all seem to lack.
I try to find these ways to string unparalleled words together,
In attempt to show my feelings for her...
But i find that the simplest way,
Is to just get it out of the way,
And say...
I Love You.

A little office romance..
Hah, I like it. There's something to be said about tributes here on WN. I HATE most of them, and I have had a few written about me, that were all in all, written in the best intentions... and I HATED them all the same.

Some of the most talented people seem to have issues writing a proper tribute, but you did well here. I am glad it was outside the realm of Iambic Pentameter. I didn't expect this to be a good poem, but I am glad that it was. Three claps for you, 2 gifted points, and a nomination because you deserve it.

"...Insecure and totally fine with it..."

The one part that stuck out the most to me. If one embraces their insecurities, are they no longer insecure?

...or, more philosophically, are they secure in their insecurity...

Omg
Oh wow how lovely is this. Favourite bits of this are :
Beauty comes in with the small breath of the wind. The breath of her.
Insecure and totally fine with it, her thoughts of you in words infinite.
The whole thing feels very special indeed.
Well done here and I am she will enjoy this very much.
Yours Kassie
