Alzheimers no. 2
Sometimes they go to a place we cannot find
A place they enter in their own mind
It is a place we cannot breach or ever reach
They stare at a blank wall, do they see us at all?
We sit and talk enjoy the day, how long will they stay,
So we take each moment we can share
Show them how much we really care
For we know one day they will not be here,
One day they will go to the place in their mind
A place we cannot enter,A place we cannot find.

good
a very nice poem about a real subject. i like it. that's life. we have to face the demise of our loved ones. it is very sad when they deteriorate gradually before our eyes and we see people once strong and competent, become as little children. my father is starting to become very forgetful so i understand. good writing... on a good topic.
