A Chocolate War
|
The Chocolate is in the air.
He runs to grab hold of it.
She gives him a sedative look.
He is dazed whether to watch her or catch it.
In that split second, she grasps it and runs away.
He is chasing her with his impish smile.
Her swift moves are making a terrific tale.
"I will remove the cover of both of you", he says in a spongy tenor.
"If I allow you to do so", she waves it in her hand like a Japanese hand fan.
"Don't create a Chocolate war", he states softly.
"Tonight, I am going to eat this bar", she challenges him in her velvet voice.
She goes back, he comes front.
She moves into the Kitchen, he moves ahead with hunger in his eyes.
"I am going to throw it out", she sweetly screams.
"I am going to hug you tight", he smartly dreams.
"See there, something is coming", he yells quickly.
He snatches it from her with some love and temptation.
"Oh my God, Oh my God, I want it", she jumps with a cry.
"Then do what I tell you", he allures her.
He removes the outer swathe like an artist. "Remove your coat".
She does it with a tacky coyness.
He opens the golden wrap like a juggler. "Remove your dress".
"I love you", she giggles and falls on top of him.
He closes his eyes and enjoys the seventh heaven.
She filches the Chocolate near her and bites it; along with his fingers.
He too savors it along with the Cherry.
The Chocolate war ends and the Love war starts.
May be in the second combat, both of them will emerge as Conquerors.

Author Notes
I thought of writing a mood smothering Romantic Poem and this idea of Chocolate came to my mind. I tried my level best. You are welcome to read and share your feedback.
