A True Hero is Indeed a Phoenix
|
A true hero is more than a brave warrior fighting wars with a weapon and meeting the needs on a battlefield.
A true hero stands firm within the mist of a courageous human cause and wages war against the words No and Cannot.
A true hero is willing to do what’s needed right now even when it’s easier to say no or I cannot just because everyone else says so!
A true hero is a drum major who leads the fight from the front, even when the band stops playing, and the crowd stops clapping, and the spot light draws deem. This true hero reaches beyond the irrational preferences associated with the status quo: that is “Only for the Moment”.
But this true hero’s heart, determination, and purpose in life drive the momentum for change within this courageous human cause.
True heroes are made from the paths they choose, not by life chooses.
True Heroes are dreamers who want to make the world a better place than the why they found it!
True Heroes never want to be famous but make the lives of others seem famous.
There are two kinds of heroes in any story or poem.
Heroes who strive to shine in the face of great adversity and who perform an amazing feat in a difficult situation.
And then there are those true heroes who live among us, who do their work unceremoniously, unnoticed by many of us, but who make a difference in the lives of many.
You see, true heroes are not always famous people who live their lives out on stages and in the public eye.
They are generally obscure and modest people doing undercover kindness, keeping their families together and taking an active part in a major human cause, opposing what is evil (in one way or another) and defending what is right (in one way or another).
My true hero is strong enough to be a warrior. Honest enough to be wonderful and bold enough to be courageous.
My true hero is a legend in there time, yet disguised as a humble servant in the words of a novel who refuses to accept the words no and cannot.
My true hero's tenacity and humility combined personify the words yes and can do in the mist of negativity and adversities.
My true hero is indeed a Phoenix: Uniquely remarkable and rising above the words defeat, failure, and disappointment.
My true hero stimulates the rebirth of hope and change in the mist of poverty and despair. Suffering and joy taught them how to jump from sympathy to empathy and doing something for somebody else - just because!
My true hero encompasses much more than just being a good person! My true hero is indeed a true friend who also is a true hero and true friend to many other people.
There is nothing more rewarding than making a difference in someone’s life when that difference makes you a silent true hero and friend to another person.
Dark & Lovely combines two separate elements that are uniquely mysterious, yet beautiful and divine when brought together.
Thank you for being my Phoenix: My True Hero and My True Friend (Dark & Lovely).
