Precious young lady
Playing with your dolls and toys
Don't grow up too soon.

Sweet ponytailed child
Imagination alive
Innocence at play.

Living in your world
You perform delicate dance
Of sacred childhood.

I see a little girl sitting on the floor on a rug playing with her dollys in the living room with the sun beaming from the window...almost a ghostly figure of nostalgia for you!! for you were that little girl once...or you were a boy who watched her sister and thought "that's stupid to play with dolls" yet you sit there playing with your action figures which is basically the same thing...really fun simple poem!!
Your Friend Joan

The flow of it is great and the emotions are clear cut and shine brightly throughout the piece. Haikus can sometimes sound so choppy but this is written really well.

So sweet
I love it, it's so sweet, and we never want those young ones close to us to grow up too fast, and they always seem to. :c
