DON'T ASK ME

DON'T ASK ME

Don't ask me t

to be Socrates

I couldn't handle

Xantippe

Nor Custer, I could

not deal with a psychic

Sitting Bull

Like a lawyer

ask me question I

already know the answer.

Why ask me, a poet,

we're all drunks like

Charles Buksowski.

Why the hell do you

think they have

Miranda?

You only want to

hear answers you

are predisposed to.

So, don't ask me.

I know, you need

something for the record.

The spirit bloweth

no one knows where

but you ask anyhow.
