Multiple Choice

How dare you
Do this to me.
Talk to me
When itís convenient
For you.

You tell me
Everything
That I want to hear.
Sheís still there.
In your life-
More than I will
Ever be.
And you keep me
Hanging on-
To a glimmer of
False hope.

No chance for me.
I know this-
Yet, here I am.
Waiting.
Thinking you must really be
Worth it.
Are you?

You want both of us.
It doesnít work
That way.

Youíre lying to
One of us.
Do us a favor
And tell us-
Who is it
Going to be?

But like every other
Test youíre given-
You failed.
You still wonít
Choose.

Helpful? Thumbs UpThumbs Down
A familiar plea and you express the feeling of always
waiting for an answer.
The question that comes to mind..
Should we not remove the choice from them?
To take away the 'false hope'

Interesting write>keep that pen moving.
